payments

how do i make a payment?

Payments for sessions are usually made at the time of booking via our online calendar. Focusing Courses and the Safe and Sound Protocol can be purchased on the bookings page.

Is GST included?

Yes.

do you offer payment plans?

Yes, payment plans are available if you need to spread your payments out over time. We do not charge interest however, we do charge a minimal administrative fee for this service.

individual sessions

how do i book a session?

Appointments can be made through our online calendar on the bookings page. Simply select the session you would like and your preferred day and time to confirm your appointment.

Multi-session packages are also available for returning clients. For more information on these options and to book a package contact us.

where are the sessions located?

We are currently running all sessions online via Zoom.

At the time of booking you will receive a confirmation email and a reminder email the day beforehand that includes the Zoom link to use for your session. Simply click on this link at the time of your appointment.

what is the cancellation policy for sessions?

We understand that things happen and sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure there is adequate time to offer the spot to another client we ask for 48 hours notice.

  • Any cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the original amount.

  • A cancellation fee of 100% of the original amount will apply to those who do not show up for their appointment or those who are significantly late (more than 15 minutes) to begin their session.

how do i book a series of SSp sessions?

We first like to have a phone call to see if you are a good candidate for the SSP. You can add your details to the contact form on our SSP booking page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

To commence the program we require a deposit of $160. You can then pay the remaining amount in full or in instalments.

where are the sessions located?

All SSP sessions are currently being run online via Zoom.

what is the cancellation policy for SSP Sessions?

If you need to cancel or reschedule your sessions we ask for at least 24 hours notice so we have time to offer the spot to another client.

  • Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit.

  • This cancellation fee will also apply to those who do not show up for their appointment and those who are significantly late (more than 15 minutes) to begin their session.

how do i book a COURSE?

The dates for our upcoming courses can be found on our bookings page.

To secure your place a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required. Payments for all courses can be made in full or in instalments as discussed with us prior to commencement of the course.

It is recommended that you register as early as possible as courses can fill up quickly.

where are the courses located?

We currently run our courses online via Zoom.

You will be in the class with the teacher, the assistants, and a group of friendly fellow students. You will be sent a link before the class starts with clear instructions on how to join the call. It is simple and straightforward.

There will be teaching, demonstrations, class discussion, group exercises, and paired exercises. You will also receive a seating chart with peoples friendly faces on it, which gives the class more of a sense of connection with the other participants.

We've been doing online courses for over 13 years – and they work amazingly well. 

Studies taken around the world have shown that people who learn Focusing online are more likely to continue on to have regular Focusing partnership each week. For this reason we are building the number of Zoom courses we are offering and hope you will join us. 

Course requirements

To ensure everyone gets the most out of these courses we require that:

  • You must attend the first class. This is an opportunity for everyone to come together and start the journey as a collective.

  • No more than 2 classes can be missed in the 10 week course. You will be sent a replay to catch up on any missed sessions but if you are unable to attend more than 2 classes we will not be able to give you a participation certificate.

what is the cancellation policy for courses?

We understand that you may need to cancel or reschedule your course, we simply ask for as much notice as possible so we can offer your spot to another participant.

  • Your money is refundable up to five days before the first day of a Foundations course, minus the deposit and a processing fee of $35. Fees can be waived if you choose to apply your payment to any other course offered by Focusing Australia.

  • If you have already received your course materials, an additional fee of $35 will apply for the course manuals and handouts.
