This attunement is an invitation to slow down and gently turn toward your inner experience with curiosity, kindness and respect. Feel free to follow along with my voice or if you prefer let go of the words and turn to what your body is showing you.
In Focusing, we trust that the body carries a deeper knowing about our lives. Beneath thoughts, emotions and reactions there is often a subtle, embodied awareness that holds more than words can easily express. When we take time to listen in a gentle way, something within us can begin to soften, unfold and find its own next step.
As you listen, there is no need to change, fix or improve anything. Simply notice what is here. Allow your attention to settle into your body and become aware of what wants your company right now.
Allow yourself to arrive just as you are. Trust your own pace. Trust the wisdom of your body. Listening for what is waiting to be known, and for the natural movement toward greater ease that can arise when the felt sense is received in an atmosphere of safety.
